EOI | RMA Mentoring Program

Expression of Interest

The Risk Management Association (RMA) Australia and the Emerging Career Risk Professionals (ECRP) Committee host quarterly group mentoring sessions where a RMA board member offers 1 hour of their time to mentor a group of ~10 mentees who are in financial services in the first 10 years of the risk career.

These sessions are in person and can cover a range of areas including more broad career mentoring or how to approach certain situations. They aim to uplift the soft skills of emerging risk professionals with emphasis on the areas most valued by senior risk leaders. This is a unique opportunity to connect and learn from a RMA Board member as well as meet alike peers.

Previous mentors include Teena Rowell (CRO Enterprise Risk at Suncorp), Guy Harding (CRO at NGM Group) and Julie Hunter (GM Financial Institutions Risk at CBA).

There will be 4 sessions (1 per quarter) for each mentoring group. It will be hosted in person at the mentor’s office. The session is often between 12-1pm to cater to most people’s calendars.

If you are in the first 10 years of your risk career and would like to be a mentee, please fill out this form.
