About the Speaker:-

David O’Brien, Group General Manager, Risk Metrics & Measurement, ANZ

David is Group GM, Risk Metrics & Measurement at ANZ, with responsibility for provisioning and RWA calculations, credit risk models, risk systems & information delivery and stress testing.

David joined ANZ in 1997 and since that time has held senior risk roles in Australian Retail Mortgages, Global Markets, Consumer Finance and Group Treasury.

David holds a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in mathematics from the University of Melbourne.

David is a member of the RMA Management Committee and was President from 2020 to 2023.
