She advises clients on AI strategy, governance, risk management and adoption, with a particular focus on helping financial-sector risk and compliance teams use AI to work more effectively and create greater value. Michal brings more than 15 years’ experience leading research and development teams in AI and advanced analytics. Combining deep technical expertise with practical delivery experience, she helps organisations establish ethical AI frameworks, effective governance structures and fit-for-purpose controls that enable responsible scaling.

Jonathon Rutter, Executive Manager, Programs & Systems, Enterprise Risk, Suncorp 

Jonathon is Executive Manager, Programs & Systems within Enterprise Risk at Suncorp. He leads teams responsible for risk systems, portfolio delivery and the technology platforms that support critical risk and resilience capabilities across the organisation. With experience spanning program management, systems engineering, risk management and business transformation, Jonathon specialises in delivering complex initiatives that connect business strategy, technology and operational outcomes. His work focuses on building and evolving enterprise capabilities that enable effective risk management, support regulatory obligations and improve organisational resilience. Emma Dalton is the Executive Manager Compliance Operations at Suncorp. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Management and Economics and has 16 years’ experience across the financial services industry, spanning both banking and insurance. Over the past decade, Emma has worked across first and second line compliance functions with expertise in compliance advisory, oversight, breach management, and regulatory reporting. Throughout her career, Emma has successfully led high-performing teams and worked closely with business and risk leaders to strengthen compliance practices, and deliver meaningful organisational value. She is passionate about making the complex simple, helping stakeholders understand their compliance obligations, and translating regulatory requirements into practical actions that support better business and customer outcomes.

Kayla holds a Bachelor of Business in Management and Leadership and has cultivated a distinguished career at Suncorp spanning 20 years. Over the past 12 years, she has established herself as a risk professional, contributing across both 1st and 2nd Line Risk functions in advisory, leadership, and senior executive roles. Her expertise encompasses enterprise risk management, strategic risk initiatives, and the design and operationalisation of risk frameworks and practices (including capability and culture).
