A Message from our Executive Director
Dear RMA Australia members,
It’s been an incredibly busy period with many webinars, forums, events, and networking opportunities over the past few months.
A particular highlight was our annual CRO Conference, held in partnership with PwC. This year’s conference saw 78 Senior Risk Managers from our 45 member organisations attend a range of insightful sessions around the theme ” Reinvention—Transform Beyond Optimisation: Embrace Reinvention.” We thank Amrita Jebamoney, the PwC Australia team, and all our speakers for partnering with us to successfully deliver the 2024 RMA Australia CRO Conference.
In addition to the CRO conference, we launched our special webinar series,“Ballot Box 2024”.
With the countdown to the US Presidential Elections on Tuesday, 5 November 2024, well underway, this series will help you stay on top of the evolving presidential campaign and its risk implications. The webinars feature expert analysis from the USA and are a must for anyone interested in understanding the potential outcomes. Please note the special time of 10 am (AEST) for these international sessions.
We thank our Emerging Career Risk Professionals (ECRP) committee for delivering a fantastic webinar to our wider membership. Special recognition also goes to Ian Crofts and Megan Holt for their insightful commentary on “Risk Fundamentals – Treasury Risk: Demystifying Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.”
We are excited to bring you more updates, webinars, and events in the coming months. Stay tuned for more opportunities to learn and connect with your peers in the risk management community.
