January 2023 E-Newsletter

A Message from our Executive Director

Welcome to 2023!

We are pleased to announce that we have a full calendar of webinars and face-to-face events planned for 2023. Our popular monthly (and sometimes bi-monthly) events cover various key risk management topics.

As a member of RMA Australia, when you attend a webinar, you join 200+ risk colleagues for a one-hour session on a current topic with some of Australia’s most senior risk professionals. This includes the opportunity to ask questions in real-time. Our LIVE interactive webinar platform is one of the best ways to keep up to date with “hot” risk topics and thought-leading presenters.

In 2023 we will be surveying our members around their preference for face-to-face v webinar events. We encourage you to provide feedback and suggestions so that we can continue to deliver regular, quality events.

In addition to this, if you cannot attend a webinar, you can access the content via the Members Only section on our website. Here, you will find a library of content available to absorb at any time to further your professional development.

As a member, you also get access to the RMA Journal. The RMA Journal comes direct from the US and provides risk management news, practical ideas, and insights that give you a competitive edge and are designed to fit your needs wherever you are in your career.

This February, we will kick off the year with a webinar on FTX and Crypto Currencies – Where to From Here? Learn more about the event and our speakers below.

In March, we will be hosting our annual International Women’s Day (IWD) event hosted by Westpac on 8 March and a NEW! Webinar event on Geopolitical Risk on 21 March, hosted by ANZ.

Ensure that your RMA Australia membership is current to ensure you don’t miss out on any of these webinars and other events and register via our website.
