APRA Chair Wayne Byres – Speech to RMA Australia CRO Conference

APRA Chair Wayne Byres spoke this morning at our CRO Conference in Sydney.

In “Risk management: made to measure”, Wayne discussed the challenges faced by the risk management profession at a time when many of the biggest risks faced by financial institutions are difficult to quantify or measure.

We had a full house to hear his final address to RMA Australia, during which he promoted the advantages of having a high-quality risk profession working actively in financial institutions. Special thanks to Wayne for always accepting an invitation to address RMA Australia’s hallmark Forum during his tenure as APRA Chair from 2014 – 2022.
