Join the last Ballot Box 2024 – Navigating Election Uncertainty Panel on 29 October to hear leading industry experts’ views on the upcoming election. Panel 4 will be held in the final week of the campaign and is not to be missed.

For Panel 4, RMA Australia has secured one of the world’s leading risk management advisors, Dr. Andrea Bonime-Blanc joining us from New York. She will be joined by former hedge fund trader and investment banker, Andrew Perry and AMP’s economist, My Bui.

To recap on the Special Webinar Series, each panel provide their insights into:

  • Key risks before and after the elections campaign
  • How businesses are thinking about managing these risks

About the Speakers:-

Dr. Andrea Bonime-Blanc, Founder & CEO, GEC Risk Advisory

Dr. Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/PhD, is founder & CEO of GEC Risk Advisory, an advisor on the governance of tech, risk, and ethics change to business, NGOs, and government. Formerly a senior global executive (Bertelsmann, Verint, PSEG), she serves on several boards and advisory boards (Cyber Future Foundation, NACD New Jersey Chapter, Athena Alliance & WireX Systems). She is Independent Ethics Advisor to the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico, Independent Integrity Advisor to the Platform for Social Impact, Founding Faculty for the Institute for Directors Malaysia Mandatory ESG Certification Program and a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

She was named to the 2023 Governance 100 by Diligent, the 2022 Directorship 100 by the NACD, and Onalytica’s Top 50 ESG Influencers. She is a global keynote speaker and widely published author and book author, including Gloom to Bloom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience and Value (Routledge 2020) and Governing Pandora: Leading in the Age of Generative AI and Exponential Technology to be published in late 2025. She was raised in Germany and Spain, and lives in New York City.

 

My Bui, Economist, AMP

My joined AMP in 2021 within the AMP Investments team. My’s responsibilities include providing analyses on global and Australian economic data, constructing various proprietary economic indicators, producing forecasts for external agencies & internal departments, and contributing to the asset allocation process.

Previously, My worked as a fixed income research analyst at Deutsche Bank in New York City with a focus on securitised mortgages. My is a CFA charterholder. She has a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from UNSW Sydney, and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, United States.

 

 

Andrew Perry, Executive Director, Send Payments

Andrew Perry is an investment banker with over 30 years of experience across and financial markets. He has expertise in trading sales and alternative investment portfolio management, including the construction of portfolios.

Andrew’s career is marked by a consistently demonstrated track record in managing and building risk and sales-focused businesses on a global scale. These businesses have generated substantial and sustained revenue growth. He has worked in senior roles with Commonwealth Bank, Nomura, Bank of Queensland, and Tudor Investments.

Peter has over 37 years banking and finance experience.
