Attending Events

Networking Events - Members Only

RMA networking events are for members only unless otherwise advertised. If you haven’t already done so, you will need to join or renew your membership before you can register and attend RMA member events.

Individual membership fees are heavily subsidised by Institutional Members. This small contribution gives you access to all of the benefits of being an RMA member – including attending our free member networking events which include leading edge presentations on hot topics in the industry followed by networking drinks with canapes.

Individuals who do not work for an Institutional Member can join as an Associate Member.

There are some rules you should know about when attending member events. These include:

Event Registration

Members must comply with Registration requirements when attending events.

Information on Registration requirements can be found by selecting Event Registration from the left hand menu.

Chatham House Rules

Members should note that our events are conducted under ‘Chatham House’ rules. Chatham House rules mean that information exchanged at the event cannot be reported outside the event and comments are not to be attributed to anyone.

This allows our speakers more freedom to openly share their insights with our members. Please ensure you respect this and do not report the discussion to others.

Networking

Member networking sessons following our event presentations are intended as a means for members to get to meet with their peers and colleagues in the industry. Our members need to be able to meet in an environment that is conducive to this.

Member networking events are NOT to be used to:

  • market or promote their company or to obtain contacts for maketing purposes.
  • identify potential candidates for recruitment purposes.

Anyone found breaching these guidelines will have their membership suspended.
