A Message from our Executive Director
Dear Members,
This month we held an exceptional event on “Three Lines of Accountability (3LOA): Fundamentals, Challenges and Insights” hosted by CBA – our first hybrid face-to-face and webinar session for the new financial year – and it was a great success. A big thank you to CBA for their generous hosting and to their expert AV team, who ensured everything ran seamlessly for both in-person and online attendees.
A special thank you to our presenters, Lisa Wilcockson (Partner, KPMG Australia) and Nadia Krusche (EGM Group Audit & Assurance, Commonwealth Bank), for generously sharing their expertise. And to Caitlin Stark, who did a brilliant job moderating the session – what a star! ⭐
August is shaping up to be a big month of webinars and events. We’re grateful to our hosts – Suncorp and KordaMentha for holding these important risk conversations and creating space for our members to learn, connect and share insights. Register via our website or the link below.
Our new “Risk Resources” page has launched to great feedback. It’s already proving to be a valuable tool for members. To continue building this resource, we invite you to contribute – whether it’s presentations, documents, or insights relevant to the risk community. Please send your contributions to marketing@rmaaustralia.org for upload to our website and distribution to our wider membership base.
We look forward to continuing this momentum in the months ahead.

When / why did you join ECRP ?
Rhythm joined RMA Australia and the ECRP in 2025, with a keen interest in connecting with like-minded professionals who are interested in making risk fun, innovative and translatable across the industry.
What do you enjoy the most about ECRP & RMA Australia?
The most enjoyable aspect to Rhythm about the ECRP & RMA is the ability to bounce ideas off one another as a group, and the willingness of peers to collaborate. While organisations vary in approach, there are many common opportunities which are shared among the industry, which Rhythm finds the ECRP is keen on discussing and solving.
Why would you recommend others who may be interested to join?
A strong supporter of connection and networking, Rhythm encourages current and aspiring risk-professionals to consider joining; as a good career is defined by strong networking, relationships and having diverse perspectives across ways of working. You never know how a small collaboration could lead to a positive influence on risk management!
