2025 June E-Newsletter

A Message from our Executive Director

Dear Members,

As we approach EOFY 2024 – 2025, I am pleased to reflect on the strong momentum we continue to build at RMA Australia.

Member numbers and webinar registrations are steadily rising and we’re seeing substantial growth across key engagement areas. This includes the number of webinars and events we deliver, new member registrations and enquiries, webinar attendance, post-event views and the consistently high average ratings (4.5+ / 5) of our content.

These trends are rewarding as they highlight the increasing value our members place on RMA Australia’s offerings and reaffirms our commitment to delivering timely, relevant, and quality risk management content.

If you have a hot topic or burning risk question that you would like to be considered, please contact our events team via [email protected].

This month, we’re delighted to welcome Accenture to the RMA Australia membership. We look forward to working closely with Shona Brady (Managing Director – Risk and Compliance) and her team, as we continue to collaborate.

As another financial year draws to a close, it’s an ideal time to reassess your organisation’s risk management practices. This involves taking proactive steps to minimise potential liabilities and maximise opportunities in the year ahead.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement with RMA Australia.

To request content for internal distribution to boost individual membership, please contact our marketing team at [email protected].

Record-Breaking Webinar Engagement

A huge thank you to all our current and new members for your increased engagement in our webinars. We’ve welcomed many new institutional and individual members, resulting in increased engagement. Your participation continues to grow, resulting in record-breaking attendance numbers in recent months.

Our June webinar, AI in Action: Practical Implications of AI in Risk Management webinar, hosted by Deloitte, attracted 1,000+ registered attendees, 50+ engagements, and received an impressive average rating of 4.8.

These results reflect a desire for quality, relevant, and timely risk management content.

RMA Australia’s goal is to:

  • Foster continuous professional growth and development of members.
  • Support effective risk management education and training.
  • Keep members aware of emerging risks and developments in global risk management practices.
  • Promote discussion about ethical and professional conduct in the financial services industry.

As engagement grows, so does our ability to seek and secure the highest quality speakers for you. We encourage you to invite your colleagues and networks to join RMA Australia as individual members if they are employed by one of our institutional member organisations.
