The RMA Australian Community
The RMA Australia community consists of the leading financial services organisations - their employees in both risk management and the business - as well as independent risk practitioners.
Membership is open to both Institutions and individual risk professionals with the membership year running from 1 April to 31 March.
We have a three tiered Membership Structure that reflects the size and scale of the operations and the individual membership base within the institution. Those employees who want to participate in RMA events then become Individual Members.
Institutional membership fees support the running costs of the association and subsidises the cost of individual membership for employees. A key benefit of Institutional Membership is an invitation to the annual Chief Risk Officers Forum.
Tier 1 Membership: Major Banks and Financial Services Corporations (annual institutional membership fee of $30,250 inclusive of GST*). Employees of Tier 1 institutional members may take up an individual membership at a cost of $60 per person (inclusive of GST).
Tier 2 Membership: Mid sized financial service firms and major consulting firms (annual institutional membership fee of $12,300 inclusive of GST*). This provides for up to 50 individual memberships at a cost of $60 per person (inclusive of GST).
Tier 3 Membership: Smaller local financial services firms, regulators and consulting firms (annual institutional membership fee of $6,150 inclusive of GST*). This provides for up to 10 individual memberships at a cost of $60 per person (inclusive of GST).
Please contact us for specific information on Institutional Membership entitlements for each Tier.
If you are an employee of an Institutional Member, you can join as an Individual Member of RMA Australia (Annual membership fee of $60 inclusive of GST).
Individual Memberships will be $60 with their 2019/2020 membership expiring on 31 March 2020.
To join as an Individual Member please click on the "Become a Member' link on the left to download the on-line application form.
Individuals not employed by RMA Australia member institutions, such as financial risk management consultants, or companies that do not otherwise meet the criteria of Institutional Membership are eligible to become Associate members of RMA Australia (Annual membership fee of $605 inclusive of GST). Students undertaking banking and finance courses are also eligible for this membership.
* Please note that Tier 1, 2 and 3 members have the option to attend "Interbank Risk Forums". Access to these Forums (i.e. Compliance, Operational, Technology and Wealth Risk, and Financial Crime Forums) will incur an additional charge of $2,000 inclusive of GST.
