The RMA is pleased to announce its last event for 2018 will be hosted by EY in Brisbane.

About the Speakers:-
Chief Risk Officer, Heritage Bank
Kerry has 30 years’ experience in the financial industry in Australia, Canada and the United States. She has worked with major banks Westpac and NAB, with State Government departments and broker aggregators, and in non-bank lending roles.
Qualified Risk, Compliance, BCP and Internal Audit Practitioner across multiple companies.
Non-Executive Director for several not for profits in the US and actively mentors new leaders across 3 companies in Queensland, Melbourne & New Zealand
Active member of Toastmasters for over 10 years and a survivor of adult education undertaking my MBA at 35 with 3 children under 6.
Kerry was the Regional Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of North America for Computershare for over 3 years then moved from Boston to Sydney to work for a non-bank lender before making a tree change and moving to Toowoomba with my husband and fur baby.
Kerry is currently the CRO for Heritage Bank based in Toowoomba leading a team of 12 Risk, Compliance and AML professionals, due to expand to 22 encompassing BCP under my remit.
Passionate about Risk and the commerciality of decisions and uplifting the Risk Maturity of her team and the wider organisation.
Chief Risk Officer, CUA
Megan joined CUA in February 2017 as Chief Risk Officer and leads the development, implementation, challenge and assurance of CUA’s risk management strategy. Megan is an experienced risk and finance professional with more than 20 years’ experience. Megan began her career in lending and prior to joining CUA, she worked across a number of diverse roles within financial services, including with Macquarie Group and Suncorp Bank. She has held executive positions responsible for credit risk and credit policy, the management of capital, performance management and forecasting, business performance and enterprise-wide risk management initiatives associated with the Basel regulatory framework and prudential banking standards. Megan is currently the Treasurer of the Risk Management Association of Australia - a post she has held since 2014.
Chief Risk Officer, Suncorp
Teena Rowell joined Suncorp in 2000, and is currently Chief Risk Officer Customer Marketplace & Technology. In this role, Teena leads second line risk teams covering a broad portfolio of business areas including front line customer activities, technology and corporate functions. She also leads the second line specialist capability in Strategic Risk and Project Risk, and plays a key role in assessing Suncorp’s overall risk profile and reporting to senior leadership and the Board Risk Committee.
Teena has been a member of Suncorp’s Risk leadership team, in senior risk roles since 2010. Prior to moving into Risk, she held senior finance roles. Prior to joining Suncorp she worked at KPMG, specialising in Financial Services and Energy & Natural Resources.
