Tue 5 June 2018 | 4.00pm start with networking drinks from 5.00pm until 6.00pm

What is cryptocurrency all about? And how do we need to adjust our approach to risk management to harness the benefits whilst managing the associated risks?

Our panellists will argue the case for and against the use of cryptocurrency. Giving participants insights into:
• The benefits of cryptocurrency – how is it better than fiat currency and what problems could it help solve?
• The potential risks involved – what are the potential drawbacks for individuals, financial institutions and exchanges? Could the rise of cryptocurrency simply be a bubble?
• How will regulators and authorities enable benefits to be realised with risks effectively managed?
• Will cryptocurrencies replace currency as we know it?
