The RMA is pleased to announce that its first member event for 2018 will be hosted by Deloitte in Brisbane and be presented by Mike Cutter, Group Managing Director - Asia Pacific of the global information solutions and credit reporting firm Equifax.
Mike will present on the current state of comprehensive credit reporting (CCR) and its relationship to the emerging landscape of open banking data. Mike will address both the beneficial impacts of CCR and the challenges, including strategic, technical and regulatory. Mike joined Equifax in March 2015 with an extensive career in financial services, spanning more than 30 years, both in Australia and overseas. Mike’s roles have included time at ANZ as the Chief Risk Officer (Australia), National Australia Bank, as CEO at GE Money Australia & New Zealand and CEO of OAMPS Insurance Broking. Mike has a depth of knowledge of Comprehensive Credit Reporting from international markets and has been one of the original champions of CCR in the Australian market.
Mike has held numerous directorships and chairmanships with Equifax, WesFarmers, ANZ and GE. He is a senior fellow of Finsia, was a Director of the Women’s Cancer Foundation from 2006 to 2016 and served as a director of the Australian Finance Conference until 2009 and National Insurance Brokers Association until 2014.

Craig Mitchell is a Senior Partner in the Risk Advisory group of Deloitte focusing on financial services, energy & resources and government sectors. He has over 25 years' experience assisting Australian and International companies improve their operations where matters of business process, governance, risk, controls and technology are concerned.
Through Craig’s risk management and corporate governance experience he was invited to the ASX Corporate Governance Council alongside the Group of 100 where he assisted in the drafting of the 2nd edition of the ASX Corporate Governance Principles. This also resulted in Craig co-authoring both Group of 100 and ASX guides to ASX Principle 7: Recognise and manage risk.
Craig’s leverages both his business (accounting/finance) and information technology skills to provide commercial advice where matters of technology are concerned. His qualifications include:
