ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:-

Bendigo & Adelaide Bank
As Chief Credit Officer for the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Jodie Hamilton is responsible for all aspects of credit strategy, portfolio monitoring and reporting, credit risk and credit operational risk across Credit Originations, Credit Policy, and Asset Management.
Jodie was fortunate to commence her career in Branch Banking, giving her a deep sense of connection to the customer that has been sustained across a thirty year career in financial services. She is goal orientated and loves the challenge of working with complex situations, identifying key themes and issues and negotiating commercial outcomes that contribute to the long term success of the Bank, our Customers, and the Communities in which we live.
Jodie has completed undergraduate degrees in Accounting, and in Banking and Finance, and is an invited member of the Golden Key Honour society recognizing her exceptional academic achievement. Jodie was selected for an international study scholarship that saw her travel to the UK, France, Canada and North America to meet with senior executives of companies such as Paramount, Nortel, Honeywell, Canel+ and the IASB to study practical applications of complex academic issues.
She also holds a post graduate diploma in Corporate Governance, holds the award of Fellow with the Australian finance industry body FINSIA, and is a member of a range of industry bodies.
Head of Regulatory Risk & Culture, Enterprise Compliance,
Lara was appointed Head of Regulatory Risk in May 2017. Lara joined ANZ in January 2015 as Head of Credit Regulatory Reporting. Lara is a director of Shout for Good, an ANZ digital subsidiary.
Prior to this, she spent 10 years at Royal Bank of Scotland in London and Edinburgh in various roles across finance and risk. She spent more than 5 years specialising in Basel II and III Credit Risk RWA accreditation and associated systems implementation and regulatory reporting. She also spent 2 years as Business Manager to the Risk Chief Operating Officer.
Lara holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Tasmania, qualified as an Australian Chartered Accountant at PwC in Melbourne, holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh and had completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors qualification.
